Text Box: Calling All Computer Clubs
Need a few more members? Why not give them a good reason to join your club.
A full 10% discount on all products listed on our web site. This offer is strictly limited to your computer club members only!
How it works
Our product web site currently gets over 3000 hits a month. These are computer users up and down the country, who sometimes contact us for help, advice and information. We think they would be better served by joining one of the UK's many computer clubs.
We plan to put a page on our web site dedicated solely to computer clubs. Your club is welcome to display a link to your web site or a contact email address on this special page. This should generate some interest from our customers, who may wish to enquire about joining a club in their local area.
We will help to promote the scheme by offering a 10% discount on all our products to all members of computer clubs. A text link to this effect is already displayed on all our site pages. This at least should give them some incentive to join.
All your existing club members will automatically be entitled to the same discount, once your link or email address is added to the computer club list page.
Procedure for Ordering
At present, we would only be able to operate this discount scheme through our mail order option. For this, we have developed a special order form for computer club members only, which can be downloaded from the member's page. This is to enable us to distinguish between our regular customers and your bona fide computer club members.
On this special mail order form, members will have to state the name of the computer club they belong to. In the event of any query, we may contact you to confirm their membership of your club. Orders can be sent by individuals or multiple orders can be made by the club on behalf of their members, allowing you to take advantage of our free software offers.
Our Reasons Why
Why are we offering you and your members this opportunity? There are a few good reasons why:
We are a small company and our staff really don't have the time to answer the numerous general enquiries we get every day. Most of the questions we are asked concern simple operating procedures. In future, we would like to suggest they join a computer club and direct them to one in their local area.
We have plans to upgrade our web site during the coming months, to include some inter-active features and a general open forum. The forum will be accessible to any and all computer club members from all over the UK. We think this would be a very popular and welcome addition. We would also allow advertising from all member clubs.
We expect some of our regular customers to join clubs and take advantage of the additional 10% discount, but we have also calculated that prospective customers from existing clubs will offset our loss. Business is a gamble!
Why your club should join
There is no obligation for clubs to join this scheme. No commitment and no fees whatsoever. You can pull out any time you like, no questions asked.
No purchase necessary. In fact you don't have to buy any of our products at any time if you so wish.
Your club could recruit more members and ultimately more subscriptions.
You and all your club members can benefit instantly from our low price product range plus our 10% discount scheme.
More interactivity with other computer users around the UK through our members only forum.
No upper or lower limit on club membership. It doesn't matter whether your club has 2 members or 200. You will still qualify.
Free software products for everyone! Visit our web site for details.
Further promotions are planned for computer club members only. From time to time we are able to bulk buy certain 'end of line' items at very reduced rates. We would be able to offer these items at a substantial discount on a 'first come, first served' basis.
Membership of the scheme does not affect any of your statutory rights. Also, any privileges granted to our regular customers will also apply to members.
Free newsletter for all our customers. Members will have their own section, in which they can contribute, ask questions, answer questions and advertise freely.
Easy link access to other sites offering all manner of freebies. Free e-books, free advice, information and resources.
